Laser Smooth offers permanent hair reduction. Most of your hair won't grow back after the initial course of treatments. Remaining hair grows back much slower and finer and may only require the occasional maintenance treatment.

Does it hurt?
No it does not. Laser Smooth uses “in-motion” technology and inbuilt cooling to eliminate pain. You may feel a gentle warmth but it is essentially painless.
Is laser hair removal safe?
Yes, when performed by skilled technicians with professional equipment. We have undergone advanced laser hair removal training.
How much does it cost?

Can everyone have a treatment?
No, not everyone is a suitable candidate eg it is not suitable for if you are pregnant, have epilepsy or over any tattooed areas.

How long does it take?
It is a fast process but depends solely on the area to be treated. The upper lip, for example, takes only a few minutes while legs can take up to 15 minutes. The number of sessions required depends on the area to be treated, your Fitzpatrick skin type and your personal hair growth cycles, however 8-10 sessions is an average.
What body areas can be treated?
Almost any area of the body can be treated with laser hair removal. We also treat ares such as legs, back, neck, face and chin, underarms, stomach, Brazilian chest, etc. As it is permanent hair reduction full eyebrows are never treated. Our most popular services are the Brazilian/underarms/full leg combo. It is not possible to treat over tattoos.
Pre and Post Care
Treatment Plan
This course of treatments will usually be 8-10 sessions 4-6 weeks apart. Best results are obtained with consistent appointments.

Pre-Treatment
Area must be shaved 24-48 hours prior to your appointment. For bikini area, please shave only the area that you would like to be lasered.

No waxing, plucking, tweezing or threading of any hair being treated as this interferes with the efficacy of the treatment.

Please limit your sun exposure for two weeks pre and post treatments. If you must be out in the sun always wear sunscreen. Laser Smooth recommends ASAP 50+ Hydrating Defence.

While fake tans are preferable to sun exposure, please plan your fake tan appointments for after your laser hair removal sessions. Fake tan can affect your settings and create a higher risk of burning.

No makeup/lotion/deodorant on the day of your appointment on the treatment area.
It is the customers responsibility to cover all tattoos close to the treated areas before treatment. If it is a small tattoo covering with a bandaid might suffice, however if it is larger then cover with a white adhesive bandage allowing 2-3 cm overlap. Outlining in white skin safe marker is an additional safeguard. Treating over a tattoo will result in burning, blistering and possible distortion of your artwork.
Post-Care - First 24 Hours
Redness, bumps and a minor sunburn feel can be common in the treatment area and may last up to 2 or more hours. If you are sensitive you can apply a cool pack or we recommend the ASAP Soothing Gel applied as often as required.

The treated area may be cleansed gently with mild soap. Pat the skin dry instead of rubbing.​ Avoid:

Sun exposure

Hot showers

Excessive sweating

Swimming and saunas

Tight, restrictive clothing.

If the skin is irritated, limit the use of lotions, moisturisers, makeup and deodorant to the treated areas.

​Post-Care - Between Appointments
Limit sun exposure to reduce possibility of any hypopigmentation or hyperpigmentation. Laser Smooth recommends ASAP 50+ Hydrating Defence.

Dead hairs will begin to shed 5-30 days after your treatment. This can present as stubble. You can exfoliate the area to assist with this hair shedding.

If you suffer from ingrown hairs, Laser Smooth recommends spot treating the affected areas with ASAP Clearskin Bodygel. This AHA/BHA treatment will aid in the effective exfoliation of the area.

Do not use any other hair removal products or methods, other than shaving, on the treated areas during the course of the treatments.
